The Florida Finishers 2019 Mid Winter Conference and Exposition was held January 24-25, 2019 in St. Petersburg, Florida. A.M. Metal Finishing attended this conference and exposition both days. We were especially interested in the seminars that spoke of going more green. Anodizing is often called a green coating, because it is friendly to the environment by using water-based chemicals.

Some of the seminars we attended focused on water recycling technology, acid rejuvenation, as well as other anodizing processes. At the conference, we invested $5000 in new equipment! The purchase of this new equipment will help us use less water and extend the life of our anodizing baths.
